Washington, DC’s house music authority wants to know: How many DJs can say their music was used on network television for a Victoria’s Secret showcase? We’re not sure either, but it can’t be too many. Robbie Rivera is truly accomplished. This Thursday, Lima Restaurant & Lounge plays host to Miami’s juciest act. Said to have the best party at the Winter Music Conference, Robbie is sure to pack out the club and fire up some of that Miami heat.
RR’s hits ranging from 2000 until today include “Bang” (frequently used during the Sydney Olympics), “Float Away,” “Back to Zero,” “Burning,” and a staggering amount of other gems. He is without question one of the most prolific house DJ’s and producers of all time, a true pioneer. His latest projects include “We Live for the Music,” and “Let Me Sip My Drink,” f/ Fast Eddie.
If you love to have fun, love a stylish, upscale dance atmosphere, or just love house music plain and simple, then Thursday night at Lima is clearly the choice. What better way to spend an evening than in the intimate setting that is Lima Restaurant & Lounge, spirits in heart and hand and the music of a true pioneer ringing through the speakers. One cannot claim to truly appreciate house music until they have experienced Robbie Rivera, it’s that simple.
Check out the spacious tented outdoor patio lounge, where you can hang out and relax! Head upstairs to the lobby level bar to grab a drink away from all the action. Or heck, dive right in, party your ass off, drink at the main bar, snag a table, and fist pump all night to the sounds of Robbie Rivera!
In Washington DC, house music lives at Lima. Experience Glow every Thursday at Lima Lounge and every Saturday at Fur Nightclub. Panorama Productions and Club Glow have been setting the bar in DC Nightlife for over 10 years.
