Vitamin Water has been hosting its Uncapped LIVE series in Washington DC with Brightest Young Things.

With amazing May and June events (including Wale to kick things off), it features “the finest music, fashion, action sports, arts and entertainment our nation’s capital has to offer,” uncapped LIVE offers enough variety to suit nearly even the most diverse entertainment needs.

Here’s the event schedule for uncapped LIVE’s final two weeks:

• 6/7/11: Happy Hour + Nouveau Riche Hosted Production Workshop + Night of Podcasts in the Lounge
• 6/8/11: “Beckett and Lynch: A Celebration” a 2 man show
• 6/9/11: Screen Vinyl Image, Phonic Riot, Martial Canterel in the garage + TEEN w/ movie viewing/panel/celebration
• 6/10/11: BYT Rave Camp returns for a whole space takeover (DJs TBD)
• 6/11/11: Daytime: ROCK’N’ROMP feat. Spirit Animal and friends
• 6/11/11: Nighttime: SUNWOLF/RAINDEER animal bands live show
• 6/12/11: Daytime: Butler + Claypool curated vintage bazaar
• 6/12/11: Nighttime: Pujol, Exactly live show
• 6/14/11: TGRI Hosted music panel + OFFICIAL BEIRUT AFTERPARTY (Zach Condon DJ Set)
• 6/15/11: Story telling night
• 6/16/11: Live recording DJ/MC/Live Performance recording happy hour hosted by TGRI + live show later at night (bands TBD)

With home base in a 25,000 square foot space in the U Street Corridor, an area known for its hipster-friendly venues and urban bohemian lifestyles, Uncapped LIVE has been bringing out an incredible assortment of rising touring artists plus locals. A few names include:

Uncapped LIVE has also partnered with Art Whino’s G40 Art Summit, an exhibit with over 2,000 works by 500 artists. The gallery includes artwork items like skateboard art, 3D interventions, and even twenty artists showcasing 16-foot murals. Entertainment is provided daily by BYT six days a week, including live music and dance parties to stand up comedy and fashion events. Exhibit hours are:

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 7pm – Midnight
• Saturdays: 12pm – 2am
• Sundays: 12pm – 6pm
• Mondays: Closed

If you think partying in the Newseum and view exhibits afterhours sounds cool, be sure to check out BYT’s and Capital Pride’s “Somewhere… at the Newseum” party this Friday with DJs Ultra Nate, Lisa Moody, and Lauren Flax. This party also features a moon bounce, movie theater showing classic gay films, a free photo booth, and tours of the Newseum exhibits. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and $50 for VIP.
