Music maturity came swiftly for the now seasoned-veteran Robbert van de Corput, better known as Hardwell. At the age of 25, the young Dutch titan capped off a 10 year journey when he was crowned World’s No.1 DJ in the 2013 DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Poll cementing his position as the electronic scenes newest superstar DJ and becoming the youngest ever winner of the coveted Top 100 DJs award. In 2014 the Dutch megastar did it again – being crowned World’s #1 DJ in the 2014 edition of DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs Poll for a second consecutive year. When it comes to Summer festivals near dc nothing is bigger than Moonrise! Taking place at Pimlico Race in Baltimore on August 9-10, Club Glow and Steez Promo have put together one of the craziest lineups of all time. Glow has been busy, from countless massive shows at Echostage to Thank You Festival and now Moonrise.
With four stages and a unique lineup Moonrise Festival will bring something for everyone including production value worth the visit itself (yes, there will be a Ferris wheel). Moonrise Festival will be held at this world famous venue a short distance from downtown Baltimore:

The event will take place in the massive infield of the mile-long race course, which will be transformed into a world of sight and sound, building the event around a massive Ferris wheel in the center. The nature of the venue will allow easier access to concessions and much more space to expand the production and performance areas.
There are multiple parking lots in the surrounding area, and the venue is along public transportation routes.

2 Chainz – born Tauheed Epps – began his career in 1997, when he formed the hip hop duo “Playaz Circle” in his home town of College Park, Georgia, with his high school friend Earl Conyers (known as Dolla Boy), while Epps adopted “Tity Boi” as his moniker. Following the release of an independent album titled United We Stand, United We Fall (2002), the duo were introduced to fellow Atlanta rapper Ludacris, when he moved into their College Park apartment complex, whilst he was acting as a DJ. After taking interest in Playaz Circle, Ludacris began to record several songs with the group, playing some of them on his radio station. It wasn’t long before he asked the duo to sign onto his newly formed record label Disturbing Tha Peace, a subsidiary of Def Jam Recordings.
It wasn’t until after 2 Chainz, then known as Tity Boi, left Ludacris’s label in 2010 after the release of Playaz Circle’s 2nd album to pursue his solo career and adopt a new name. The rest, as they say, is history.

Javid David Álvarez Fernandez was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico on December 13, 1983. Both of his parents are from the Dominican Republic. When Alvarez was 12 years old he sang in front of several of his classmates and teachers, his first ever song “Lo Que Ella Trae” (What She Brings). He listened to many artists from the reggaeton genre, and paid much respect to artist Tego Calderon. Then, through his cousin, he met with DJ Nelson, and a working chemistry soon emerged between the two. He was then signed to Flow Music in 2009. Later that year, his debut album El Dueño Del Sistema was released. A special edition was later released on January 7, 2010. Otro Nivel De Musica, his second studio album was released on September 20, 2011 and featured the hit single “La Pregunta”. A special edition was later released on May 1, 2012, titled Otro Nivel De Musica Reloaded. This album was very well received among fans and was nominated for Best Urban Music Album at the 2012 Latin Grammy Awards.
