DC is a second home to Cedric Gervais. A fixture in the Miami club scene, Gervais has been in DC too many times to count over the past few months And for good reason!! Between his underground, pallet-soothing sound and his charm and easy-on-the-eyes features, what’s not to love?! He brings all that and more to Club Glow on each and every occasion. He killed it at Lima and it was Ced we chose to headline the opening of Vetro. This time we’ve given him the main room at Fur to show ALL of DC the meaning of Miami house.

RANK 1

When Piet Bervoets DJs he’s known as Rank 1. But when it comes to live performances and studio production, Rank 1 is not complete without engineer Benno De Goeji. The two have been working together for 10 years. Benno, you may or may not know, is also Armin van Buuren’s engineer. Rank 1 are responsible for the trance classic ‘Airwave’ and Trance Energy 2009 theme ‘L.E.D. There be Light,’ among numerous others. They have come to symbolize truly epic trance.

DJ ECO

DJ Eco is NYC’s fastest rising star in electronic dance music. Just 23 years old, Eco has already signed multiple tracks to labels such as Doorn Records, Armada Music and Flashover Recordings. In other words, SvD, Armin and Ferry love him. He’s had tunes of the week on A State of Trance, recently spun at ASOT 450 in NYC and has a track featured on Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance 2010. This architect by day, DJ by night, and producer by subway is a must see for fans of high quality dance music.

Yes siiirrrr… Sander Kleinenberg incorporates visuals into his DJing like no other. He hooked up with Pioneer to launch the SVM-1000 audio-visual mixer. And in his humble opinion, VDJing is the future.

“Video DJing to me is one of the new ways to get across what I’m doing. The art of DJing has been elevated to a whole new level, and combining all these disciplines is exciting. It keeps me inspired.”

Sander has been gearing up to release a new album this year, as he spent most of 2009 in the Pioneer laboratory. So far he has released 2 singles, “This is Our Night” and “Rock You All Night Long.” They’re effing MONSTERS!!!

The last time Sander was supposed to be here there was that whole volcano fiasco in Europe. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that Mr. K’s flight is on schedule, on time and that he makes it safely to Lima. Because hey. this is OUR night!! See you there.

All the fun of a college party, sans the crap.

When you hear the words “college party”, what do you think of?  I think of: College girls, cheap beer, sticky floors, plastic cups, popular music, puking freshmen, good times, and nasty frat houses.

If you cut out the crap, you’re left with the essence of a college party: Cheap Beer, Good Music, Good Times, and College Girls.

Take those core elements and put them inside a luxury nightclub in downtown DC, and you’ve got the summary of College Tuesdays at Lima Lounge DC.  All the fun of a college party, sans the crap.

“Is this just some crappy college party at a lousy dive bar?”
NO.  Lima Lounge is well known for being of the most luxurious, upscale lounges in DC.
