Creepy Facebook Messages Guys Send to Go Go Dancers

The title says it all.

You ever wonder who that sexy go go dancer you were hitting on last night went home with? More likely than not, she went home to her boyfriend, child, parents, roommate, dorm room, etc. Maybe she went and partied with her co-workers.

One thing is for sure. She didn’t go home with the creepy guy who stood there winking at her all night. Sorry, man. That only works for James Bond, Bruce Wayne and Tony Stark.

Some guys, however don’t get the point. And now you know why attractive female night life workers don’t use their real names on Facebook:

1.

“Hey, I randomly came across your profile. I swear I haven’t been stalking you for months or anything!”

Some people just don't get the point.
Some people just don’t get the point.

Hi Dan! You came across my profile? Well in that case, let’s have sex!

2.

“My body is perfect… but I’m a f***ing tool.”

Apparently even guys with perfect bodies can still be total losers.
Apparently even guys with perfect bodies can still be total losers.

Guys, let this be a lesson to you. Even with ripped abs and flawless pecs, sometimes the best way to win a woman over is by smiling and keeping your mouth shut.

3.

“Scissor me timbers!”

Ladies can stalk other ladies too!
Ladies can stalk other ladies too!

Equal opportunity stalking.

4.

This is actually disturbing:

We actually may need to hire private security now.
We actually may need to hire private security now.

“Hi, I’m an Arab flight attendant named Osama. I followed you home from the club last night. Let’s be friends.”

5.

“Let’s make babies. You’re beautiful. Don’t wanna talk to me? Fine you’re a whore.”

The ULTIMATE stalker.
The ULTIMATE stalker.

Well, he opened things up on January 19 with the innocent proposition of conception. After 10 months and no response, the woman he once thought could be the mother of his children demoted to ratchet. Calling all psychiatrists.

6.

“By ‘help’ I mean sex. Get it? Cause of the quotes?”

Perhaps he means carrying in the groceries, or mowing the lawn.
Perhaps he means carrying in the groceries, or mowing the lawn.

Next time the toilet’s clogged she can give Pai a call.

7.

“Let’s f***.”

We at least respect being forward.
We at least respect being forward.

At least this guy (or girl) is concise and honest.

8.

“Are you real?”

Worst. Cover Story. Ever.
Worst. Cover Story. Ever.

You can probably blame the fact you wrote this message on tequila as well.

Moral of the story, gentlemen? There are plenty of girls that come to the club who are DTF or at least down to hook up on the dance floor. The go go dancers are working. Of all the women you see, are you really going after the ones dancing on a block in their underwear? How old are you bro?

You’re better off pre-gaming and going to the strip club. At least then they’ll actually talk to you. Not to mention show you some skin.

If you do happen to be a facebook stalker, ifne. But if you don’t have the balls to say hi in person. remember, you’ve got a lot of creepy competition out there.

Think Pink Tuesday at Barcode – 2.5.13

pinktuesday

February 5, 2013 10pm
Barcode (1101 17th St NW, DC)

Breast cancer awareness shouldn’t be limited to breast cancer awareness month. In 2009 (the most recent statistics available) 211,731 women in the United States alone were diagnosed with breast cancer. An astounding 40,676 women died due to breast cancer that year, again just in the United States.

Everyone can help make a difference, which is why we’re accepting donations to the cause. There is no minimum donation, any amount will help further breast cancer research. To say thanks, every person that donates will get a pink DJ Saam wristband similar to the one in our flyer to the right.

For every bottle of Ketel One purchased Barcode will donate $50 to the cause.

  • Atmosphere: Sophisticated debauchery is the best way to describe atmosphere at The Huxley.
Venue Overview

Work your way past the red carpet, bouncers, and guest list. A softly illuminated hallway gives way to an energetic party inside. The Huxley arose from a 4,600 square foot space once called home by a television studio. If one word had to describe The Huxley it would be luxury. No detail is overlooked: careful attention went into furnishing of two unique rooms, materials used throughout the venue, standards at the door and so much more.

The Huxley Balroom
The Ballroom at Huxley

Step into the main room (Ballroom) and you are greeted by 14 foot finished ceilings, crystal chandeliers and ample dancing room encircled by VIP tables. Mirrors are surrounded by curtains to complete the “ballroom” look while a raised DJ booth provides an unimpeded view of the DJ from the crowd. The staff is efficient but friendly.

The Library at Huxley DC
The Library at Huxley

Enter the “Library.” It would be every college students’ dream come true if this were how libraries worked. An intimate room with a relatively large bar seems the staple of many lounges in DC Nightlife. Most do not however have a bookshelf behind the bar complete with books. Attention to sound, lighting and decor are paid throughout the venue for a well rounded feel despite the split personality of separate rooms.

Spot Lounge

  • Estimated Size: 200 people
  • Amenities:Bottle Service,

    Fr/Sat: 10PM – 3AM

  • Address: 1214 18th St. NW Washington, DC 20036
  • Contact: (202) 785 2922
  • Website: N/A
  • Atmosphere: Spot Lounge definitely has the potential to be great, though the crowd and overall vibe will change on a nightly basis. With a ton of space/seating for bottle service and a very long bar, the space itself could definitely be hot. Housed in the basement level of the same building as MIA and Public, next door to Shake Shack, Spot is kind of like a bar with bottle service and the feeling of an underground club.
Venue Overview

You can pretty much get the gist of Spot Lounge as soon as you reach the bottom of the staircase and enter the venue. To your immediate right is an open space/dance area with couch-benches on the wall and a hallway leading to the bathrooms. The venue is long and narrow ahead. On the left side are about 8 ‘tables’ for bottle service. On the right side is the bar.

At the end of the bar and beyond the DJ booth (opposite the end of the bar) sits a raised VIP area that sits deep within the venue. It’s got a relatively good amount of privacy and on busy nights is more than likely roped off.

It’s a simple venue with an x-factor crowd but with the right promoter,s could be a great place to party.

  • Atmosphere: Ownership held nothing back when rebranding the former Fly Lounge as Heist. Highlights of what was no doubt a hefty interior design bill include gold-plated urinals, a Swarovski crystal piece above the bar and bullet holes in the bar (they shot it up, then installed it). Getting the door staff to acknowledge your existence is not easy, but the management, bartenders and cocktail waitresses are great. And the crowd at this VIP lounge? Surprisingly fun-loving; a breath of fresh air from your typical ‘look at me i’m someone important’ douchey VIP crowd.
Venue Overview

As mentioned, Heist DC’s chic design combined with its low capacity and fun crowd (who popped an awful lot of Ace of Spades while we were there), allows the door staff to be rather selective with whom they allow inside.

The DC lounge is set up more or less into 2 sections: a bar area and a DJ area.

Heist Bar
Descending into the most pimped out nightlife prison you will ever see, there’s a bar area ahead/to the right with a VIP alcove around the corner. Bow tie-laden bartenders serve a variety of beverages from the typical favorites to Heist DC mixology specials like The Bearcat (rum, fresh blackberries, lemon juice) and Robert the Bruce (12 year-old Scotch, yellow chartreuse, green tea). The golden, bullet hole-filled bar and crystal ceiling design are eye-catching to say the least.

Moving through the venue to the DJ area, you’ll find the booth to the right, next to the bar. On the other side of the DJ booth is another slightly raised VIP alcove. Another VIP corner exists across from the booth. An intimate dance floor ties it all together.

Long-time DC resident and Heist co-owner Charles “DJ Dirty Hands” Koch made sure to have a DJ booth he could be proud of. It features a 24-karat gold buffalo skull and is an invitation-only VIP booth in and of itself.

To appreciate the intricacies of Heist’s interior design one must examine them up close and personal. They really did spare no expense. From the mirrored ceiling/floor designs in the bar area to the custom wall panels and barred, in-wall art.

Parties
  • Tuesdays: Industry Night
  • Th, F, Sat: Bookings include top open-format DJs, NY/Miami/LA residents, etc.
